I’m sorry I’ve been so inactive this weekend. It’s been very hectic. I literally haven’t touched my computer (seriously, check my wall…no Farmville activity)
Anyway, I didn’t sleep Friday night and had to be at Bikram yoga at 9am on Saturday morning. Bikram was the hardest thing I’ll ever do in my life. it’s 90-minutes of crazy poses in a heated, 110-degree room. I though I was dead a couple of times. I’ve also never sweat like that in my life. At one point we had to bend over and some sweat went down into my nose. I started coughing hysterically because I thought I was drowning. The yoga community wasn’t as concerned as they were anrgy that I’d broken the silence. I’ve also never touched my own feet that much EVER. It was hard for me, both because I hate feet AND because I was so sweaty that my hands kept slipping. I seriously exploded out of some of the poses because my hands would slip and hurt my structural integrity. SAD.
After we got out, I was shocked because I realized that a) people were out and about and b) most people weren’t at Starbucks! At that point we decided we should drop in on the Starbucks crew and fuck with them. They enjoyed it. One of them even put apple juice in my vanilla roibos tea latté. Then, after our big breakfast woke me up, Sam and I went to Eastern Market! It was awesome we ate so many free samples and I had an apple the size of a pineapple! It was love.
My parents came a little later and we went out to buy me some more businss casual outfits! Michael Koooooorrrrssss all the way! Eating dinner at the Olive Garden was equally amazing, even though all I really wanted was Sushi. Our server even gave me free food! :) Yeah, I know!
I went to bed promptly at 8:15pm after my family helped me pack for…NYC today! I’m on the bus right now and I totally wait! I even get to see @exceptforthisone LIVE tonight! Life has definitely taken an upswing since my Starbucks-capades went on vacation this week. :D
Today while working at starbucks I made a crown out of some assorted starbucks items. Later on someone asked me if I was the coffee king. I said yes and they bowed to me. I think I love working here. MLIA
As a side note, this person thinks that now, but they will realize that they don’t later.
